Bayside Shop Equipment is also known as Northstar Automotive Service Equipment.  Our company was established in 1990 and became a privately held corporation in 1997. Our headquarters are located in San Jose (also known as the capital of Silicon Valley), California – about 50 miles south of San Francisco.

Our management has many years’ experiences in the automotive industry, including auto repair and service, shop equipment sales and marketing, car lift design, and overseas sourcing.  We were the first company to export American-made lifts to China as well as the first American company to do OEM lift parts for American lift manufacturers.  Moreover, we have done private label on car lifts for American lift manufacturers such as Snap-On, Ben Pearson, Western Hoist, and Gemini Auto Lifts for many years.  Therefore, we have strong product knowledge about car lifts.  We also have established long-term relationships with many lift manufacturers, as well as machine shops, fabrication shops, forging factories, casting factories, and shipping companies in China.  We deal with overseas machine shops and shipping agents directly; as a result, our pricing is very competitive.  We utilize our product knowledge of car lifts to work efficiently; most of all, we care about our customers.
